Swim/ Ballroom team

This year I decided to start swimming again after a very long time of not swimming. I am excited and really enjoy it. I am swimming JV because ballroom team is when Varsity has practice and I don't have to join OTAC so that is always a great thing. The one thing I don't like is most of JV has no experience so I get really bored doing all the tecnequ and being one of the fastest swimmers on JV I have no one to really push me. The other thing I hate is we don't pick what events we swim so having swim experience and being good at butter fly and breast stroke it looks like I am going to be swimming a lot of IM's, and butter fly. If I am lucky I might get to swim breast stroke. I will probably get put on the medly relay also. What a blast. O well it will be good for me and a nice challenge. I just pray I don't have to swim back stroke. I am also on the ballroom team and loving it. I enjoy dancing a lot and spend a lot of time doing it. I am in two dances so far for the team and we are getting ready to start going to tournaments. For tour this year we are going to Cal. and get to dance at sea world. I am so Excited. I will put pictures on once I get some.

The Family.
Went and stayed a week in colorado to see my mom and stayed in a time share up at wenter park. I love this ski resort and had a lot of fun. there was so much to do. My sisters kinda drove me crazy but I guess that is normal for little brothers and sisters to do to each other. I want to buy a cabin up there. Most beautiful place ever.

Me at the lookout point.

Befor school started Heidi, Oma, Michael, and I went down to Ceder City for the Shakespearean Festival. I decided since we were already down there we should take a tour of Southern Utah University because thats where I had been planning on going to school after my mission. I know SUU is wear I am supposed to go to school. I fit in very well down there being so active and into the outdoors. The campus is amazing and I love the P.E. building. I can't wait to go there. I just applied a few weeks ago so just waiting for the envolope to see if I get in or not. The Shakespearean Festival is amazing and so much fun. Our show happened to be in the replica of the old shakespear theater. We went to The Comedy of Errors and all loved it. To bad we couldn't have taken Kirsten, Marshell, Samantha, Amy and Scott. Amy and Samantha would have loved it. Scott would like all the sword fighting and stuff. But they do a wounderful job. We also went up to Brian Head and had fun up there but it was very cold.

schools sign.

Waiting to do forms.

Oma, Coach and I befor my first match.

All of us getting ready for sparring.

Taking home the bronze and gold!
Befor going to homecoming I had a taekwondo tournament. I was signed up to go as a white belt because I had just got my yellow but our sparring coach changed it. I didn't know the yellow belt form and only had two weeks to learn it befor this tournament. I got my wisdom teeth out a week befor so I really had no time to train for forms. I was kinda scared because it was also my first tournament but I ended up doing really well. I took bronze in forms and was really supprized to medel with the little training. Sparring I felt very confident and have always liked sparring and had a goal to take the gold. My first match was really easy he didn't score very much and I was afaid I was going to knock him out. My 2nd fight was to see who took gold and silver because there was only 4 of us in my division. It was kinda nice to not have that many fights. I was filling really good but about half way though I was starting to get an atitude I shouldn't have had. I really wanted to knock him out because he keept kicking really low and hitting me in the groined so I was mad. I kinda got ripped off because he was getting those scored when it wasn't a scoring area but I happened to win by one point so I was very happy but very tired for homecoming.

Homecomeing 2009 my senior year. I can't believe this is my last homecoming and that high school is almost over. For homecoming we didn't do a day date because I had a taekwondo tournament that morning. Heidi went and picked up her flower after the tournament as I came home and slept and got ready. We decided to have dinner here at the house and Heidi was a little slow getting that ready but it was really good. The dance was at UVU in the ballroom and was so much fun. I am sad that this is my last year but ready to move on to college. I guess they still have dances so I think I will be ok.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

The cookie and drink tent.

Oma with Heidi's favorite picture.

Me with the come unto christ.

Oma and I.

Me infront of the temple.

Oma and I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It is wierd to see three temples in the same area. This is now my favorite temple. I loved being able to see the sealing room and was my favorite room I also enjoyed the celestial room. It was nice because there was no lines so we watched the movie on temples and went straight through the temple. I was amazed that not a lot of people were there. I got to park right next to the temple. When I go through the temple for the first time I am wanting to go here. You can really tell it was a lot of hard work to build. I thought it was going to be a small temple but once you get inside it was bigger then I thought.

Heidi and I.

Every year for the past I don't know how long we have been going to Disney Land. One year we decided to go to Disney World and Uncle Scott decided to come with us. To bad Kristina couldn't have came with us. I know we are Disney freaks. I love going and spending time with my family and always have a good time. Disney World was fun but there Magic Kingdom sucks compared to Disney Land. The shows they put on where amazing. Can't wait to go back.

Snowboarding

Me up at Sundance.

Samantha Skiing.
For the last few years I have been getting season passes to Sundance and go snowboarding. I love to be outdoors and love the rush that you get. Last year I didn't get a pass because I started working and couldn't go. The year befor I took my cousin Samantha with me and spent the day on the slops. She is scary to go with because she likes going fast like me but she goes straight down the mountain and doesn't know how to control her speed so if you are in the way I feel bad for you. I have no clue how she is still alive and hasn't killed anyone else yet. It was so much fun taking her and need to go again next time she comes to visit in wenter. I enjoy spending time with her. I also enjoy when her whole family goes with me. Amy gets scared a little but is good once she gets over that fear. I wish I had pictures of Scott. That kid isn't scared of anything. We went to the Canyons in park City and I was going on the rails and tables and stuff and he told his dad he wanted to do them also and he did. The kid was 4 or 5. Great way to spend time with the family.

Eagle Project.

Me cleaning up.
For my eagle project I built a pavilion for the disabled down in Provo. I joined with RAH because they have been wanting it for sometime. My aunt has worked with them before and helped me come up with the idea. My cousin Kate is Disabled so it was nice to be able to do this for her and others like her. From planning to it being completed took two years. We had lots of problems with people wanting to help out but backing out and then Provo city on top of it all. But now it is done. I still need to go see it. It is neat to bike the Provo trail and see it and say I did that. It is something that will be there for a long time and something I will be able to show to my kids. I am very proud to have done this project even though it was a huge task.

Deutschland Tour.
In 2006 I went to Germany and stayed with my cousin Sina for a month. I miss it so much and would live there if I had the chance. I went to school for two weeks and had fun making friends and thought it was funny how everyone thought it was neat to have an american in there class. We did a lot of things when I was there. I found it funny that Sina has never done a lot of what we did befor I came and thought oh my gosh what are we going to do for a month and then relized how much there is to do. I had so much fun and hope to go back soon. It was neat because I got to meet Pat. He is now like my big brother. I have never eaten so much ice cream befor in my life. I love the food so much. Maybe I will end up in Germany on my mission? Who knows.

In October Heidi's work would always go down to Moab for meetings. I loved going with her and staying at Red Cliffs Lodge. She would go to meetings and I would run off and so swimming, fishing, horse riding or whatever. One day they bring in someone to put on a show and it's always really good. I like to go down town and look in all the little shops. Sometimes we go to Archs and go hiking but I have started to go with the guys and go Mtn. Biking and love it. It's kinda scary sometimes because these guys are crazy and getting hurt doesn't bother them. You get the best view and pictures from up on the cliffs. I wish we still got to go.

The Group

That was the theme for EFY this year. I love going and making new friends. I have found it a great way to grow in the church. Of course the best thing about going is all the girls and the dances are so much fun. As you can see are group had 8 guys and 16 girls. This year are group name was In The Service. For two days you go to 8 classes that are like going to seminary but they get the best teachers ever. My old seminary teacher Bro. Su'a was one of the teachers and loved going to his classes. I also was in the musical program and on thursday night after dinner you have the program and then a fireside. It is probably the most powerful part of EFY. I am so happy that I got to go. I am hoping next year I get to go again befor I go on my mission. It is the best week of my summer.

Biking the Provo Canyon

Today I went up Provo Canyon with my uncle David to bike the trail. I think the whole trail is 20 miles but we back tracked and then biked home. We went about 35 to 40 miles and took about 2 1/2 hours or so. It was raining but we never got really wet and it was nice because it wasn't very hot. David and I got home and decided to go to Five Guys and get something to eat and then went to see the movie UP in 3D and loved it. That is the 2nd time we have seen it and yesterday went to Iceage 3 and had a good time. If you haven't seen them you really need to go.

Lacrosse

Getting scored on by Riverton.

Trying to stop the shot.

Trying not to die by a big kid.

playing some D.
Since 9th Grade I have been playing Lacrosse for Mountain View. I started playing in 8th grade for Orem jr. That was a sad year. We lost every game that year and only got one goal all season. I loved playing for MVHS a lot more. My freshman year we had a good team but the coach was new and we had to figure out what we where doing and learn his style of play. We didn't make the playoffs but had a great year and a lot of fun. As a sophomore we had a better year then the year befor. We got stuck in the first round of playoffs playing West Jordan who just beat us really bad a week befor. Somehow we pulled togather as a team and went to Win in overtime I think 12-11. In the Quaterfinals we lost to Woodcross in a close game. That was sad because it was the same day as prom.
